This week’s Tuesday Tip is to read up on local history. Context is important when looking at our ancestor’s life. Some questions that need to be asked are:
- What wars were going on?
- Who lead the country?
- Who was the religious leader?
- What Major events occurred?
- Laws passed, Industrialization, Weather events, etc.
These are just a few key questions that can bring our ancestors to life. I hope you ask more specialized questions and id love to hear what questions your asking of your ancestors and their world!
